Recipe for chocolate fudge cake using box mix?

Is there a way to add something to a chocolate cake mix to make it a fudge cake? Also, is there a way to make the cake dense, like a bakery style cake? I was thinking that 2 eggs instead of 3 may do the trick.

    8 oz. sour cream
    1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1/3 c. water

    Put all in mixer bowl and beat with beater 3 minutes.
    Bake at 350 degrees in 9 x 12 pan for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in pan.

    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tbsp. butter

  2. Try some of these combinations:

    Use 3 egg yolks and 2 egg whites;
    Melt about 1 cup chocolate chips and add to the batter;
    Add about 1/4 cup dutch process cocoa to the batter;
    Add some chocolate pudding mix to the batter.
