Any one want a recipe for German Chocolate Cake?

1 4 0unce package German Sweet chocolate 1 and 2/3 cup of all-purpose flour 1/2 cup of butter 1 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 egg yolks (save egg whites) 2/3 cup buttermilk 3 stiff-beaten egg whites 1 teaspoon baking soda (oven 350) Grease and flour two 8x1 1/2-inch round baking pans. Heat chocolate and 1/3 cup water till chocolate melts;cool. Combine flour,soda,and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat butter about 30 seconds. add sugar and vanilla;beat till fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each. Beat chocolate mixture. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to beaten mixture, beating after each addition. Fold in egg whites. Turn intp pans. Bake in a 350 oven for 30-35 min. Cool 10 min. Remove from pans;cool. Fill and frost top with frosting Good frosting to go with cake :) 1 egg 1 5 1/3-ounce can(2/3 cup) evaporated milk 2/3 cup of sugar 1/4 cup butter Dash salt 1 and1/3 cups flaked coconut 1/2 cup chopped nuts In saucepan beat egg. Stir in milk,sugar,butter,and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat about 12 min or till thick and bubbly. Stirr in coconut and pecans;cool

  4. u r nice but, that is never a recipe from germany.............. they use cocoa powder no chocolate and for sure never buttermilk.....................but i bet "ur "cake taste good.
